Californian photographer Carlo Cruz first picked up a camera when he was studying architecture in the Philippines. He started to incorporate people into his images to provide a sense of scale, using dancers to create shapes that complement the buildings in his pictures. In 2009 he photographed the Red Bull BC1 championships and is passionate about dance and street culture – photographing it all over the world.
